Sunday. March 24. Ogden. Eighteen inches of new snow this A.M. Mt. Ogden Stake Conference. Dr Gladys and I attended this A.M. Apostle Stephen L. Richards present and gave a fine sermon. Also Three returned missionaries spoke. This Afternoon Gladys and I attended. Bro S.J. Richards gave a wonderful talk and what the Prophet Joseph Smith contributed to the world. It was very fine. Avon, Charles, Joe and Myrene called for awhile. A fine opera in town to night being Sunday night. I did not go but remained home and wrote to Oertel and Mary, Thair and Cloetel and Ruby and Earl. Cleones baby boy Justin came near dying by being smother by one of the children trying to turn him over not succeeding left him on his face.
