An overall GPA of 3.00 is required for admission to the Teacher Education program. » Credit Hour Requirements: A total of 120 credit hours is required for graduation - a minimum of 36 of these is required within the major. GEOGRAPHY DEPARTMENTAL HONORS » Program Prerequisite: Enroll in the General Honors Program and complete 6 hours of General Honors courses (see the Honors Program on page 45). » Grade Requirements: Maintain an overall GPA of 3.3. » Credit Hour Requirements: Fulfill requirements for Geography departmental or Teaching major, of which at least 12 credit hours of Geography courses must be completed on an Honors basis. A student may receive Geography Honors credit in any upper division Geography course. Permission from the program chair should be sought before registering in a course for Honors credit.
