Personal Health Problems (2) Designed to develop the understanding, attitudes, and practices which contribute to better individual health. Opportunity is provided for the student to develop skills in organizing and presenting learning experiences in a comprehensive and sequential health curriculum. Prerequisite: Health Education 300. W 340. Drug Abuse (3) Designed to cover the nature of the drug problem including alcohol, tobacco, stimulants, depressants, hallucinogens, organic solvents, and opiates. A W S Su 345. Human Sexuality (3) Designed to provide knowledge and understanding in the area of sex education for the college student. A S 386. Field Experience (2) Designed to provide opportunities for students to gain practical experience in the field hy assisting in the activities of community agencies, schools, and the college. Credit is determined by the quality of the experience and hours of time required. Registration for the course requires approval of the instructor for the course and the cooperating agency. It cannot be repeated for extra credit in the same area of concentration. Prerequisite: Health Education 300. AWS 480.
