Show came to invite us to senior citizens (old folks day picnic) Nan out later pm & eve. I with an excellent book, Wisdom on reading book, Left Relief Society party I had gone to & came home to sign paper with Jimmie agreeing to sell 1420 Marilyn to Mr. Poppin. Quite excited, Nans sister & husband (Euce) visited & Nan took us out for dinner at Starlight (Starlight) in eve to Bettys & spent a pleasant time. Tuesday, June 21, To Charles at 10 am for recheck. Home for lunch. Norma Patterson brot plants, potato salad & candy, Such a good neighbor! Nan planted the lillies of the valley. Diana Thatcher called for a few minutes. Men working on stone garden box on terrace. Henry came & did small chores. Nan & I to market & nice ride. Wednesday, June 22, To Mrs. Purkey for hair do at 11. Home for lunch. Nan called away ac accountant & Russell (sent service) She out for pm. Leah Greenwell & Gene (Red Cross) came & brot lovely flowers from Genes garden. No men working to day. A nice letter from Peggy to day. Thursday, June 23, Electrician working. To Country Club for annual breakfast at noon Margaret, Dorothy, Edith, Teddy Banker & sister Edith my guests. A big around. Luncheon & a little place I said grace. The Salt Lake folks came to out house after. Nan & I for a ride in eve. Friday, June 24, Acacia Club field day at Phyllis Shaws cabin in Eden. I with Margaret & some Salt Lake members at 11 am. A picnic luncheon & socialable meeting. Home with Cleone at 4. Several members called in after. A quiet eve at home Worfean count stopped ec material. A very hot day 90 degrees & above. Men at work on terrace boxes Mr. Hanson ill at home. Nans daughters visited her & I hear ball game pm. Nan & I with Edith & Karen to Salt Lake after dinner at Starlight Inn Nan visited her sister Edith |
