Show book & a ball game pm. No callers. Nan home & we went for a nice ride. July 4 We hung our new 50 star flag to celebrate. Mary Lindgren came to lunch. Nan & she went out for the pm. Jimmie came & we got all sale papers for 1420 signed & executed. Mary Frances came & brot Mrs. Hetzel & Mrs. Fisher to visit. Good TV programs. July 5 To the office at 2 pm. Met Marie. Took papers to Bill Loves & got sale of house all fixed. Got 10,000 out of savings & paid 23,000 on notes. Home with Nan at 4 pm. Well pleased with days work. Wednesday, July 6, A rather poor day felt weak & dizzy much of the time. Nan out in pm. I had a ball game & reading book to occupy my time and phoning to the girls. Nan home early. Thursday, July 7, Weather still hot. Saw Dr. Olson at hospital at 10 am. I did not feel much built up. Although he say everything is OK. Around home until 9 pm when Nan & I took a ride. A ball game & some reading book. Bob Weis has material for fence not yet finished. Friday, July 8, To Maude Silvers at 11 for brunch. Wore my new white dress much admired. Ubel Ferguson assisting. A sizeable time. Margaret came up from Salt Lake & came home with me for a visit. A pleasant eve at home. Nan went to a swimming party. Saturday, July 9, Anniversary of out dear fathers death. Margaret & I met Betty, Edith, Elizabeth & Don at cemetery & put on flowers. Papas & Mamas grave & on my Dicks also Franks. Celebrating Margarets birthday we had brunch at Mansion House. |
