Show Mrs. Mary Lindgreen (who had a dinner with us.) Flowers from Henry 7 Ida also lovely plant from Marie. Many gifts and greeting cards. Weather here been lovely all day. wishing for Dick to celebrate with me. Monday, feeling better this am. Took heart of grace & went with Nan to Ediths tea at the Threshold. Got a new book Comfort Farewell to fear. Nan read some to me in eve. Tuesday, Nov. 22, Got quite a few fixing jobs done today. Bill Hanson planted the trees for me. Also two poplar at the SE corner off lot to stand for Dick & me. Door bell change arranged. TV check up all around. called Green re Christmas decorations & Marie came & we got all accounts & bills fixed up. Reading new book in eve. Nan Melbas in pm. Wed Nov. 23, Marie brot check for boys in Europe. Am. normal routine. Nans pm out She brot Mary & came home with nice chicken supper. Then out for a while. Janet called in pm. Door bell arrangements called off re no bell in stock. Got 2 new reading books. Thursday, Nov. 24, Nan & I to Salt Lake am. To Margarets at noon then Nan went back to have holiday with her son & family. A nice visit with friends with wonderful album of records by Fred Warings orchestra on. Ralphs 1 & 2. Dinner with all family (Zola & Boyd & Mr. Stevensen at Wildlife Refuge. called to visit dear Annabelle. She is comfortably fixed, some better they report. Nan came at 7 and she brot me an home. Friday, 25 To hospital to have check up by Dr. Olson. he not so well pleased with my heart. Gary came & fixed us up. In eve to Laskins. Our dear Mrs. Matthews also Mrs. Tidel (old friend) passed away Gloomy day To funeral of Mrs. Matthews funeral & to Bon Marche. Looked re Kitchen curtains. Had lunch |
