House somewhat upset after tea serving to guests yesterday. Nan went to Salt Lake to deliver gifts & brot Margaret home with her. I went with Elizabeth & Don & Edith to see the house they are talking of buying (Rosabelle with us too) A grand house. up to the last minute in design & equipment. Nan Margaret home when I got back. Dicks picture hung on mantle has been hosted by all. and many affectionate memories have been spoken. And Betty, we cannot forget her in spite of trying to observe Christmas. Tuesday 27, Margaret & I did a lot of visiting. Nan did washing & tidying down stairs. Got news of Richard Macks marriage Dec 21st. Wednesday 28, did a lot od visiting with Margaret am. Down town & met Edith for lunch at hotel. Looked around at Wolfers after. Nans pm out. but she brot us home. Scott took us in a tempest car, very nice. Callers in eve. Don & Elizabeth, Melba, Bud & 4 children. Thursday 29, callers during day, Mary L. & her niece Mr. & Mrs. Wilford Euce, Ralph, Dorothy, & Susan (they took Margaret home) In eve Paul & Betty with 4 children. I to office at 1 pm & with Marie got last not paid at bank & other bills paid. Nan & I took a tour around looking at cars before evening company. Beautiful sunny weather. Friday 30, Cleaned away xmas gifts. Nan proceeded to clean rooms. A fine, sunny day. Looked at a home for Edith. Took a ride in eve. Sat 31, Still lots of tidying to do but the house looks nice.
