Archery Dancing Swimming The women at Weber have proved themselves to be more than the weak and inactive sex they are cracked up to be. Their participation in sports portrays their ability to keep and hold their own with the men in this field. And at high school you hardly ever saw them in a gym suit . . . The roster of sports in women's intramurals covers a wide field which includes all the major sports and many others which we never knew existed. Maybe they didn't . . . The Robin Hood followers are portrayed in the corner up "thar," while the enthusiasts of Marie Gambarelli are depicted in the middle scene. Ping pong is surely not alone a boy's sport, as is shown by the picture in the bottom right hand corner. Table Tennis Fencing Volleyball Swimming intramurals Fencing Increased interest has been shown by the women in swimming this year. Whether it be the attraction of the life guards there, or merely the physical enjoyment they get from swimming is hard to tell. Anyway the lifeguards needn't worry about Weber's female swimmers-while they are in the water.
