Show FOUNDED: 1938. PURPOSE: TO promote wholesome social activity and good fellowship. Who presented Weber with its Football Queen? Who sponsored an outstanding assembly, dance, and even a midnight show? Certainly not Santa Claus! It was the Skull Club of Weber College. . . . Even though it was organized comparatively late in college history, the Skull Club has made many strides to the front, and is rapidly gaining recognition by enthusiastic participation in cam- pus activities. Through the ability, enthusiasm and energy of its members, Skull is helping to keep Weber College a school of fun, as well as one of attainment. ulls Above: Les Gardner, President; Eugene Talbot, Vice-President; Delmare Stone, Secretary; Jerry Young, Treasurer; O. PURPOSE: TO encourage the living of a wise life by cultivating friendship and knowledge. Sophvita, those who lead the wise life, is the newest club at Weber, and, as with all new clubs, the challenge of making a name for itself is yet before it . . . Because Sophvita is yet a juvenile in the group of organizations at Weber, its future popularity depends much on the present membership. From the strides it has made during the first year of its existence, we prophesy that Sophvita will fulfill its ideals in promoting wisdom and friendliness at Weber College through the intelligence and amiability of its members.
