Show It's Been a Pleasure LOVELAND'S Photographers For 1941 Acorn TRUE CAMERA REPRODUCTION PLUS ELECTRIC ETCHING and SKILLED WORKMANSHIP Produces Better Printing Plates photo-engravers First of all, skilled camera operation is required to break the original pictures into dots of different sizes. Then our exclusive ELECTRO-ETCHING process begins. Greater detail is retained by the Electro-Etching Process because there is no acid to chew off the dots. The electric current cuts the plate clean and deep. Electric etching is done on brass alloy. This metal is harder and of finer texture than zinc. It will outwear the softer metal and gives a more faithful reproduction. These fine printing plates, which are made only in our plant, are offered to the public at the same price as ordinary zinc plates. |
