Swimmers Take ‘Em Scots’ Schedule All Ben Lomond’s _ swimming team is headed for region champs again this year, January 13 makes the 13th consecutive win with region meets. Ben Lomond has been undefeated in region for two years, December 9th started the swimming season off for B. L. with Bonneville. Ben Lomond swam with the score of 72 points while Bonneville had only 29. Ben Lomond came home from Skyview at their second region meet with 54 points against 45 points. Everybody says that if the sports season is good, school spirit is good, or if the season turns sour, the school does also. Perhaps it is vice-versa. If the school is sour the sports turn sour, and if the school is spirited so is the team. Whichever way it is, you cannot ignore it. So far no one has come up with any answers, with the exception of transfering out; and that is no help for the school. What do you think? Volleyball anyone? Well then, basketball anyone? Yes, everything from basketball to volleyball is played as part of the Girls’ Intramural Sports Program: headed by Miss Mower. The current tournaments being held are the basketball and badminton tournaments with basketball being played on Monday nights from 6:00 to 8:00 and badminton from 8:00 to 9:00 also played on Monday nights in the gym.
