Wilderness Recreation Center and Challenge Education Located in Annex 9 at 41st street and Taylor on the WSU Campus. • The WRC offers a variety of equipment rentals, outdoor skills work shops, seminars, and recreational trips. Affordable, convenient rentals include snowboards, cross country skis, camping and backpacking gear, white water rafts or kayaks, canoes, and more. Each semester the WRC offers workshops including Weber Rocks indoor climbing wall, open climbing, group sessions, classes, clinics, mountain bike repair, ski and snowboard tuning, backpacking and many others. More in-depth instruction includes a 1-3 day class on rafting, climbing, snow shoeing, mountain biking or cross country skiing.
