General Education Refer to pages 38-43 for Associate of Applied Science requirements. Computer Literacy as defined in this catalog is also required for the AAS degree. TBE1700, Introduction to Microcomputer Applications, will partially fill the Computer Literacy requirement and COMM HU2110 and ECON SS1010 will partially fill both program and general education requirements. Composite Teaching majors must satisfy Teacher Education admission and licensure requirements (see Teacher Education Department). » Minor Not required. » Grade Requirements: A grade of "C-" or better in courses required for this major in addition to an overall GPA in TBE courses of 2.50 or higher. An overall GPA of 3.00 is required for admission to the Teacher Education program. » Credit Hour Requirements: A total of 120-126 credit hours is required for graduation. A total of 40 upper division credit hours is required (courses numbered 3000 and above) - all of these credit hours are required within the major.
