Show Record Is Set By Dairy Cow CHICAGO, May 27 Ormsby Madcap Fayne, a Holstein Friesian dairy cow on a farm near Seattle, Wash., has established a new world record by producing almost 55, quarts of milk per day for one year, officials of Carnation Milk Co. announce. Capper, as she is known on the farm, produced 41,943 pounds or almost 21 tons of milk during a one year period, officials said. Her daily average in pounds was 115. The figures broke all records for cows of any breed, company spokesmen said. On one peak day the animal produced approximately 70 quarts. Ogden Priority Rule Yields to Indian Treaty 1942 WASHINGTON, Feb. 1 Priority regulations will have to be stretched a bit to keep Americas treaties in good standing. Budget Director Harold D. Smith disclosed Sunday that the treaty of 1825 required the government to provide 320 worth of iron and steel every year to the Choctaw Indians in Oklahoma. He said, as far as the budget bureau was concerned, he had okehed this payment, along with other annual treaty payments of 1200 to the Choctaws for other purposes, 4580 worth of cloth to the six nations of New York, 6000 to the Senecas of New York, and 30,000 to the Pawnees of Oklahoma.
