Show Messengers of Mercy Drs niece Gladys Rich dau of Dr E.C. Rich Ogdenites Pen Cantata Set For Tonight The cantata, Messengers of Mercy composed and written by two Ogdenites, Miss Gladys Rich and Mrs. Minnie D. Warners, will be presented this evening at seven oclock at the Ogden tabernacle, when the quarterly conference of Mt. Ogden stake will be held. Miss Rich wrote the score, and Mrs. Warner the lyrics, and they will direct the music and read the text, respectively. Mrs. Portia Budge and Mrs. Bernice Tyree will be the soloists. Cantata Features Stake Gathering The evening session of the L.D.S. Mount Ogden stake conference, to be held Sunday at seven oclock in the tabernacle, will be conducted by the Relief Society. A special program has been arranged, which will include talks by Mrs. E.A. Larkin and Mrs. Wilson K. Andersen; scriptural readings by Mrs. R. Jon Perry, and the presentation of the cantata, Messengers of Mercy composed and written by Miss Gladys Rich and Mrs. Minnie d. Warner, respectively. Miss Rich will conduct the chorus, which is composed of the Mount Ogden singing mothers. |
