Show ucAb jpBdciv3i.e& pwc3^pwfi Greetings! We'd like to take this opportunity to invite you to visit the upcoming Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire, which will open its gates May 11-12,18-19, 25-27, 2019 from 10 AM to 7 PM; with a special late closing at 10 PM on May 18^'^ which is our Faire by Firelight celebration. The Festival, now in its 14'^'^ season, is an entertaining and education event which provides an immersive experience for patrons and supports dozens of artisan crafters from the Western United States. In addition, the Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire also gives area performance artists a superb venue to hone their craft to the delight of guests. Music, magic, dancing and mirth can all be enjoyed at the event, which also hosts a variety of top-notch food vendors supplying such delights as turkey legs and other delicious renaissance fare. There are several fascinating demonstrations patrons may enjoy such as soap making, blacksmithing, apothecary activities and calligraphy which give our guests a unique chance to view life through a clear window to the past. Ancient technologies are alive and well at the Faire! Located east of exit 346 of 1-15, on 400 North, just west of Toads Family Fun Center, the Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire, is only a few minutes from any part of Weber County, and 20 minutes from most of Davis, Box Elder and parts of Salt Lake Counties. Nestled on a portion of a 160-year-old farm, it's a great way to get out of the crowded bustle of the city to enjoy May sunshine! The Utah Renaissance Festival and Fantasy Faire offers $2 discounts to seniors over 60, students, military (active, reserve or retired), or guests attending in Renaissance era garb; regular ticket prices are only $12 for adults, $8 for youth over 6, with 5 and under free of charge. There is no charge for parking. The event also welcomes first responders in uniform free of charge as our guests. This year we have something special planned to support a variety of not-for-profits; Equestrian Archery will be performed daily. Our Equestrian Games may be enjoyed the first two weekends, where we invite all horse enthusiasts to compete for cash and glory in our no contact, knight in training, contests. For details on competing, contact Stacy at 801-712-9621. |
