Back Row: Judi Jankovich, Colene Henrie. residence hall council organized A new Residence Hall Council was officially organized, blazers were purchased, and new efforts were made by resident students to participate in unity with the other organizations on campus. Two representatives from the halls sat on the Senate. Eddie Phillips was president of the council, and Mr. Con-die, Housing Director, was advisor. The club, with about seventy members, held elections and several socials. Each club member was required to speak the tongue of the "Vaterland" during official functions. During the year, the organization brought German films to the campus. GERMAN CLUB OFFICERS - Advisor Kenneth Adams, Tom Peterson, Bob Austad, Linda Rogers, Janet Shield. s. e. a. comprised of future teachers The Student Education Association, sponsored by the Utah Education Association, met to hear speakers and discuss educational topics. S.E.A. members received professional publications such as the NEA Journal. They were also given access to the research information from the U.E.A. library.
