Show phoenix chooses new officers DeVon Dahl was elected president of inter-club and resigned as leader of Phoenix Men's Club. Newly-elected officers were Jon Jensen, president; George Wardell, vice president; Dick Bowman, treasurer; Charles Peterson, secretary. The club built a "space-age" homecoming float, was judged second highest in Snow Carnival sculpture competition, and co-sponsored the annual Snowball. It's vice president, George Wardell, was chosen Snowball King. The club, founded in 1935, had as its pin, a gold "P" set on a black triangular shield. The club motto - "he who creates himself." The "March Rabbit" receives final touches as the men of Phoenix prepare for Snow Carnival competition.
