Show rivalries develop between m.i.a. teams Men's Intramural developed fierce rivalries between several teams. The six teams stayed together throughout the year and competed in various sports. In the fall they held competition in football and cross-country. Basketball, volleyball, handball, and wrestling events were held indoors during the winter months. Baseball and track took the spotlight during the spring. The MIA kept both dorm students and off campus students busily engaged in physical exercise throughout the entire year. Coach Phil Johnson returns a blow during intramural championship volleyball game. Excelsior's swimmer is Wade Collings. A powerful spike scores a point in volleyball action. A club member gets help with snowshoe before start of intramural race. |
