Show club hosts intermountain rodeo The Weber State Rodeo Club reached its highest level of performance during the past year. Members attended the intercollegiate rodeos in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. They were hosts to the second annual Weber State Rodeo held in the Golden Spike Coliseum on May 26, 27, and 28. Teams from all over the intermountain area were invited. An entrant at the first collegiate invitational Rodeo to be sponsored by the W. S. Rodeo Club attempts to stay aboard a saddle bronc. Back Row: Jim Okroz, Charles Rhoades, David Scovell, Ricardo Merino, Walter Hilbig, Robert Grindle. weber hosts first invitational soccer meet The Weber State Soccer Club hosted the first invitational Soccer meet ever held in the state of Utah at Ogden, May 7. During the fall schedule, the Wilcats won three games and tied four for a second place finish in the fall. A spring schedule was played when weather permitted. Officers in the Club are: Werner Thaller, president; David Scovell, vice-president; Dee Phillips, secretary; co-captains, Carlos Adams and Walter Helbig. Club advisor is Ray Rhead.
