club hosts intermountain rodeo The Weber State Rodeo Club reached its highest level of performance during the past year. Members attended the intercollegiate rodeos in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. They were hosts to the second annual Weber State Rodeo held in the Golden Spike Coliseum on May 26, 27, and 28. Teams from all over the intermountain area were invited. An entrant at the first collegiate invitational Rodeo to be sponsored by the W. S. Rodeo Club attempts to stay aboard a saddle bronc. During the fall schedule, the Wilcats won three games and tied four for a second place finish in the fall. A spring schedule was played when weather permitted.
