Show intermountain schools bowl at weber Under the direction of Tom Kiernan, the bowling team represented the school at several bowling tournaments throughout the intermountain area. Highlight of the season was the Weber State Invitational Tournament. Teams from Brigham Young Univesity, University of Utah, Utah State and from Idaho attended the meet. A Weber State bowler lines up his next throw. Coach Lowe gives Yaeko Kawaguchi form pointers for the balance bar. college begins gymnastic program Although not an official team or inter-collegiate sport, Coach Tom Lowe encouraged the sport of gymnastics among a few interested students. They received very little recognition during the year. The only time the school saw them was during halftime at one basketball game. Strength and stamina are two "must" ingredients for a workout on the rings. |
