Show w.i.a. sponsors variety of events The motto for Women's Intramural is "A sport for every girl, and a girl for every sport." This year the saying was most appropriate. Competition was held in a wide variety of events, such as swimming, volleyball, paddleball, basketball, baseball and many others. With the dormitory students and the women who live off campus, the need for physical activities was emphasized. The WIA officers planned a full year of activities that had an appeal for every girl. Jani Booth competes in W.I.A. swimming activity. Basketball is a sport for girls, too. Volleyball is the most popular W.I.A. sport. Swimming is one of ten competitive sports for girls at Weber State. |
