Show Circle K president, Joe Jenkins, led the service organization during the year. circle k sponsors blood drive The Weber State College Circle K Club organized a blood donation drive on campus in co-operation with the Kiwanis Club. The purpose of the club was to train members in leadership and offer services to the school and community. scholars form society New on campus was the Senior Scholastic Society. Membership was open to all senior students carrying at least a 3.5 grade point average. The group met each quarter to discuss such things as promotion of academic affairs on campus. Visitors included Samuel Thurman, Dean, U. of U. Law School, Attorney-at-law Robert Mukai, and Judge Parley Norseth of Ogden. President of the Pre-Law Association was Jerry Nebeker. Back Row: Douglas Young, Richard Chapman. sociology club acquaints members with vocational opportunities The Sociology Club worked to acquaint its members with the services and opportunities available in the field of social work. The club participated with various agencies on state, community, and school levels. It offered membership to students interested in the behavioral sciences. President of the group was Mike Williams.
