Show One Sunday at Pearl Harbor made far-reaching subtractions and additions to Weber College. Sophomores and freshmen alike left the campus to fill defense positions. The army and navy called many boys. Students remaining in the classroom found courses in first aid and auto mechanics filling former leisure time. For girls, knitting occupied many odd moments. With the nation Weber observed daylight saving time and longer weeks. Thus the classes of 1941-42 made their contributions to the war effort. |
