For sophomores everything becomes an art. Nothing from the first act of transforming high school seniors into meek green freshies, to the most final and complicated political strategies is done crudely. Political events on the campus presented unusual opportunity for achieving a high polish in this field. They reached such a point that even freshmen began to "get the hang" of politics. In the first special election Sophie Reed became student body secretary. Secondly, Rex McEntire was elected student body president to succeed Jack Larsen. The third time worked the charm, and final elections brought Maurice Richards and Josephine Foulger to sophomore offices left vacant by Rex and Sophie.
