Show Founded: 1934 Purpose: To work as an organized unit in supporting school activities and in creating and maintaining college spirit. Hats off to the peppiest group of girls Weber has known. The activities of the Whippers have included everything from aiding Uncle Sam by working at a canning factory, sponsoring candy sales, shining shoes, and traveling to Colorado with the team, to knitting for the Red Cross and aiding in the March of Dimes. Producers of the annual Cavalcade of Corn, guardians of the Victory Bell, conveyers of the Football Queen, these male pepsters ameliorate public relations and facilitate greater cooperation between student body and athletics. They make themselves obvious as a group at assemblies and sports activities with their enormous tiger heads and noisy spirit.
