Show Vikings Robert Jennings President Dallas Brown Vice-president Grant Randall Secretary Reed Swenson Adviser Roland Berrett John Chadwick Howard Chamberlain Lewis Davis Robert Farris Kenneth Gunnarson Bill Gurtsen Rex Hess Founded: 1938 Purpose: To increase participation in outdoor activities and foster development of good sportsmanship. The large, white "V" on the Viking sweater conveys a dual impression-Vikings and Victory. It's a good combination, and the fellows who make it so believe in inexpensive fun and the love of the outdoors. Early in the year several Viking members heeded Uncle Sam's call for national defense; but, in spite of the loss, Viking carried on with the vim, vigor, and vitality that have characterized these boys. They have already made the club famous for such things as building prize-winning floats and sponsoring one of the hits of the social merry-go-round, the Ski Ball.
