Show WAHLQUIST A School Fair beginning at 7:00 ing activities in will be JUNIOR held HIGH at SCHOOL Wahlquist P.M. All students one or more of the SPRING Junior FATR High School March of the school will participate, school's subject areas, 31 display- All parents are urged to take a glimpse of the varied activities enjoyed by the students at Wahlquist. Following is a brief description of the things to be enjoyed at the Fair to help you in planning your visit. A musical program will be presented in the school auditorium beginning promptly at 7:50. The program will be preceeded by a flag ceremony and a Short business meeting of the P.T.A. during which new P.T.A. Officers will be selected and installed. The musical program will consist of selections from the school Orchestra, the Girls Glee, the Mixed Chorus, and the Eagle Band. These four groups have been chosen to represent the music department which has four choral and three instrumental organizations. At the east end of the Auditorium will be a display arranged by the Homemaking Department. The girls in the Homemaking department have enthuSlastically responded to making exhibits for the School Fair. These cover a rather wide range of interests, with more of them in the field of foods. However, there are many displays showing all phases of homemaking activities. The west end of the Auditorium will be devoted to a display of a few of the articles made by the boys in the Industrial Arts classes. The display will be composed of projects from many work areas including leathercrait, woodwork, art metal, plastics and mechanical drawing. ) The Foreign Language department will have displays in the Library, room l2. Music will be played in Spanish, French and German languages. Slides will be shown along with pictures and realia from the various countries represented. The core classes will display samples of some of the projects that have been completed in Utah History and Language Arts. Indian artifax, pioneer relics and clothing, maps and journals will be displayed. The Core Rooms are 2 and room with Samples of students' art work may be seen in the halls and in the art Noy 26. The typing room, Room 5, will be open for inspection along samples of typing work done by the students. Rooms 4, 21, 22, and 24 will be devoted to a seience fair exhibit by the also be Science students. The projects and reports displayed will represent work done by students as a result of interest created in science classes. Fifteen of the best projects will be entered in Regional Science fair competitio n. on The work display.
