DIRECTOR October 15, 1926 Name Address Date of Birth Dear Friend: Our school census shows you to be under eighteen years of age and not attending any of the Ogden City Public Schools. Utah's school laws call for full time school attendance of all persons under eighteen years of age, who are not High School graduates, unless they are excused from such attendance "by the Superintendent of Schools to enter employment. In this later case, they must attend school on a Part-time "basis of at least four hours a week for the 36 weeks of school. It is necessary that you register immediately either for Full Time School or Part-Time classes as required by law. All students who are employed must obtain working permits from this office if they desire to continue working. If no report is received from you within five days from date, you will be cited to the Juvenile Court for Truancy. Please do not make this course necessary. Very truly yours, W.
