During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Saturday, January 19 Walter Achenbreuner conductor of Chicago Symphonic Choir conducted the Premiere apperance & singing of The Ogden Symphonic Choir of Ogden. It was very fine & many of the guest leaders own chorous pieces & arrangement of same were beautiful. Glenn Hansen is our local conductor & is very good. Dr & I were patrons & hope the group will continue. Sunday, January 20 Ogden Ski Lift was dedicated at Snow Basin this afternoon. Dr & I go to Sunday School & afterward enjoy a nice dinner with Cleone & family. Spent rest of the day resting reading & writeing. No one has called today Monday, January 21 Yesterday the Ski Lift at Snow baison was dedicated a 40,000.00 mile long chair lift. Corey Engan & Bob Beck returned Servicement were first to glide down the hill strewing flowers to officially place the lift in operation. Snow Baison will no double become one of the out standing Winter resorts of the West. The forest service civice clubs, Utah Power & Light, Civilian conservation corps Chamber of Commerce recreation Com. etc have taken part in project. Dinner at Juniors went to S.S. Tuesday, January 22 Attended Relief Society in 5 Ward. Mrs Blanch Wilson & I were appointed to act as receptions at door for the next 4 mo. Strikes 1,650,000 workers out on strike to U.S.A. 13,500,000 daily in lost wages. More than 100,000,000 have already been lost in 4 big strikes now in progress, Steel, packing electric & Auto Industrius. 1,426,000 workers affected. |
