Show Wednesday, November 27 Thursday, November 28 We had a delicious Thanksgiving dinner at Cleones. Friday, November 29 Saturday, November 30 D.U.P. to Hold Fair In Pioneer Hall Nov 31 1946 Daughters of Utah Pioneers will hold a fair Thursday, Oct. 31, in Pioneer hall, on Grant between Twenty first and Twenty second, opening at ten a.m. Among the items for sale are quilts, old and new clothing, canned fruits and vegetables. Pie and chili will be served at a nominal price. The sale is open to the public. The Weber county units of the D.U.P. have spent about 1,000 in repairing and improving the building, located on the western side of Tabernacle park. Funds received from the fair will go toward this work, said Mrs. Charles F. Felt, country president. It is intended that an attractive display of pioneer relics will be ready for public viewing during the centennial year. |
