Wednesday, January 23 Ladies Literary Club met at the home of Mrs Adam Patterson & I was her guest. It was the birthday of the Club organized about 40 yr ago. Gifts were exchanged etc then bridge was played by all except Elizabeth Thomas & I. We played Chinese puzzel. I always prepare a hot lunch for Dr before I go out to a luncheon. Thursday, January 24 Junior Edw had lunch with us. Myrene R. brought some nice brook trout down. He and Dr enjoyed them. Junior has a cold was not at the office yesterday. He & his father have operated most every day for sometime. This afternoon Mr L. Haines took his wife & I out to visite D.U.P. Camp at Riverdale. It was reorganized etc a very nice time lesson given on early courtship & marriage of some of Pioneers. Friday, January 25 Acica at 1 P.M. home of Mary J. Wilson good attendance. Mrs Don B. Coltare & Mrs Henderson ( Dr) of S.L.C. Mrs Raslie Ferrin were guests. Myrene Rich Brewer a new member was present. Mrs David Romney, Mrs Reed Bailey are new members also. Mrs Stevens also a guest Joan Emmett gave a very interesting review on a book reviewers idea of writing a good biography.
