Show Sunday, February 24 Dr & I went to Sunday School I prepared a nice dinner and my brother Mark Cozzens enjoyed it with us. He is not well & is spending a few weeks with my sister Lucile & Dr Hancock is treating him. My Brother Oren & wife Mae & Marks wife Ethal were here this afternoon. Came from Salt Lake Cleone, Royal, Junior and Blanch came awhile this evening A full day. Listened to radio L.D.S. broadcast Monday, February 25 Made 75 cookies for D.U.P. ball at Weber Gym tonight. Avon, Cleone & Myrene went to a luncheon in Salt Lake City Feb. 25 Dr and I attended the D.U.P. dance & had an enjoyable time. It was given by the officers Mrs Gladys Simpson Pres who is out of office this month. Our first complimentary Ball to my knowledge. Not a large attendance. continued Tuesday, February 26 Avon & I did some shopping Nothing much to choose from & very expensive. Avon attended Mutual with Myrene as she is president in Beverly Hills Ward and is anxious to note improvements Wednesday, February 27 Paid State Fedral tax 42.50 also Government tax 40.00 Avon and I have lunch with Dorothy Patterson, at Ben Loman hotel. I have spent the afternoon on the telephone for D.U.P. Myrene Junior & Lynn call this evening Enjoying Avons visite so much |
