Robinson died in San Francisco hospital today of a lingering illness. I love & respected her very much having served under her as Mt. Ogden Stake Relief Society President for a number of years. Leaders Laud Mrs. Robison Family of Mrs. Louise Y. Robison, former president of L D S Relief society, was praised Thursday by George Albert Smith, LDS church president, on having such a mother to wait for them in heaven. Speaking at funeral services for Mrs. Robison in the assembly hall on Temple square, Pres. Smith said Mrs. Robison had nearly 80 years of living and giving. 80 years of love, kindness, helpfulness and righteousness. LeGrand Richards, presiding bishop of the church, elogized Mrs. Robison as one of those rare individuals who radiates light and power as the sun. M. O. Ashton, first counselor in the presiding bishopric, conducted the services. Burial was in Wasatch Lawn cemetery. Mrs. Robison died Saturday in San Francisco, Cal. Robison, 80. former general president of the churchs womans Relief society. Mrs Robison served more than 10 years as society president, retiring in 1939.
