Show Saturday, March 16 Sunday, March 17 We left Marys home at 7 A.M. Taylor & Nancy took us to San Francisco to get the Southern Pacific at 830 A.M. Very comfortable quarters on train all by ourselves so I had a good sleep after a nice lunch. Calif looks green & like Spring has come to Stay. Monday, March 18 We arrived home via train from Palo Alto. Had a restful trip as we had a compartment & slept well. Attended a D.U.P. Board meeting at Mrs Gladys Simpsons home The New president conducted the meeting and was quite confused over some asignment about the by laws to be revised at the State convention next week to be held at Hotel Utah. A grand trip & visite with our dear girls & families but good to be home though winter is still here. Tuesday, March 19 I intended to Relief Society but did not on account of party for Cleone Eccles. |
