The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Wednesday, February 20 Was a guest of Gean Ellis at Lit. Club, at held at her home. Did shopping. Bought me a navy blue dress. A letter from Avon saying she would leave Los Angeles at 5:55 P.M. by plane Feb. 23 & arrive in Salt Lake City at 9:55 P.M. Thursday, February 21 Did some shopping afternoon. Literary Club at Dr and I attended a party & meeting for the High Priests & wives of Mt. Ogden Stake held at 17 Ward Church this evening. Dilworth Young was the speaker. Recd a letter from Charles Smart. He had just arrived at Hamilton Field Calif. from where he expects to be sent to the Pacific Theater of War. Friday, February 22 A busy morning at home. The number of traffic deaths is appolling. Marriages many divorces many. Still Strikes! Strikes!! Acaca Club at Cleones. Cleone & Myra Shreeve Frorer played a group of violin & piano duets. Mary Wilson a group on piano. Dr, Cleone & I went to see the picture Last Week End. Interesting but not pleasing. Rather depressing. Blanch & Junior came in this evening for awhile.
