Show Saturday, July 6 Woke up at 5 A.M. quite ill. Dr gave me penecillian I remained in bed until noon felt very much better continued treatment & by 4 P.M. about normal. Did not go to Mrs Bartons luncheon, but did go up to Gray Cliff as Dr & I gave a dinner for Janath, Ted, Ralph, Maren Cleone, Bob, Frank Wise & his Sister. All came up from Salt Lake City. We all came home for a visite until 11 P.M. Very nice Sunday, July 7 Rested this morning Dr took tithing & fast donation up to the Bishop as it is. Fast Day. We had lunch with Cleone & Royal. Myrene called Told us an interesting story. Havent seen her for a week. Sharlyne will be home from Calif. Tuesday. Warn day. Juniors family will be home tonight or tomorrow from Bear Lake Vacation. He had berries, Ice cream & watermelon with us tonight. I am feeling fine. Dr & I called on Mrs Flygare. Monday, July 8 Sharlyne Brewer returned this morning from Calif where she spent three weks visiting her Aunt Avon Smart at Los Angeles & her Aunt Mary R. Peery in Palo Alto. I did some iorning & rested two hr this afternoon. Recd letters from Cloteel, & Rich and Also Avon friend Ester Stevenson who will meet up (Dr & I on 17th of July at hotel in Seattle. Tuesday, July 9 Our second daughter Cleone R Eccles is forty nine years old today. She is a very busy women in her family, church & community. She is president of Mt Ogden Stake Mutual, Vic Chairman of Community Concert for Ogden also Active in Drama Club. Sempre Music club and is the only women & first to serve on the State Welfare Board where she has served the past five or six years. I spent the afternoon quilting at 5th Ward Relief Society |
