Show Alpha rho omega Founded: 1940 Purpose: To promote and encourage scholarship, friendship, honor, courage and fidelity. The baby of Weber College boys' clubs, Alpha Rho Omega, celebrated its birthday by cutting its first tooth, winning a first prize at the Mardi Gras. Closely paralleling this success was Alpha Rho's impessive bow to Weber's social life when it successfully sponsored its first dance. By the time Alpha Rho acquires a full set of adult teeth, it will undoubtedly be one of the most outstanding frats at the college. Robert Blakeley President Dick Isbell Vice-president Dr. E. L. They were members of the Skull club looking for a maiden foot to fit a size two shoe. Football Queens, barn dances, assemblies, and midnight shows have been Skulls' menu for this year. They've had their smattering of good grade getters, a dash of wits, a sprinkling of humorists, making this a year to remember for Skulls, their friends, and Weber College. Also to be remembered was the Skulls' Barn Dance. Those who had not previously made its acquaintance were introduced to the now famous LaConga Line, and square dances of all sorts were reintroduced, and welcomed. |
