During the game halftime activity, they were given the sweepstakes trophy for their homecoming parade float, "Building a Better U." The fraternity chorus won first place at the Songfest. The athletes of the 50 member group won an intramural volleyball trophy. Other activities were a fireside and party, held on a monthly basis. Art Jones, president, and three other delegates atended the national leadership conference at Phoenix. Gold, purple, and white are the colors of Delta Phi' homecoming entry, which won sweepstakes.
