Show Carolyn Mason, Harry Diavatis and Ken Klein enact the dueling scene from The Boar. The Mad Hatter, a beloved character from Alice in Wonderland and played by Dave Barber, considers Alice's problem. Hello Out There and The Case of the Crushed Petunias by Tennessee Williams completed the 1st of three plays presented at Weber's "Evening of one-act plays." Each play, directed by theatre students on campus, exhibited the talent, successful abilities, and competent handling of those involved. A futile attempt to escape to the outside world. Alice in Wonderland, a summer attraction unveiled by Weber's Theatre players, attracted the community adults as well as their children. Entertaining, well-acted and worth-while pleasure were comments describing the production. All actors were Weber State students, as well as all stage managers, directors and producers. The theatre department on campus is growing and expanding. theatre students take charge of productions "The first time ever on Weber State's Campus!" The summer productions held in the Fine Arts Center were produced, directed, financed, managed, and performed by the Weber State Players. The Boar, by Anton Chekov, was one of the three one-act plays presented wholly by the theatre students on campus.
