Show Basketball games affect fans in different ways. chatonelles spark half time activities The Weber State College Colleens underwent a transformation this year, and they emerged as the Weber State College Chatonelles. The new name is French meaning "kitten" to tie in with the college symbol, the wildcat. Under the direciton of Mrs. Frankie Clark, the high-stepping gals were a combination of Las Vegas chorus girls and peppy high school femmes. Concession sales at the basketball game fell off drastically because no one wanted to miss the intricate patterns and bouncing splits that brought standing ovations. Mrs. Clark anounced that she will not return next year, because she is moving to Seattle, Washington. She had brought a new spirit to the marching group that should carry over for years to come.
