Show Thursday, February 14 Have been up to visite my sister Lucile Hancock & her daughter in law & grand dau (3 yr) Sandra this afternoon. Had a cute valentine from Carol who is at U of Mchigain Also one from our two great grandchildren Claire & Ralph Hardy. Several drives have been made previous to this one Contributions Utah residents contributed 1,175,024 garments in the recent victory clothing campaign, Mrs. John T. Wahlquist, state director, reported today. The states quota was 550,000 garments. Friday, February 15 Mrs Yono a Jopenese women came & helped clean thro the house. Very dirty winter, will be glad to move upon Taylor Ave as there is little smoke there. Cannot build for some time as materials just arentto be had. Hope we can build in the next year. Dr came home very tired so went to bed early. Cleone & I went to Weber College to hear Dr. George W Crane psychologist Sub. Psychology Arising from the War Very good house of over 600 people. |
