During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Saturday, February 16 Wrote a note to Sister Annie B. Perkins who just lost her son Louis of a heart attac. in Montpelier Idaho. They are relatives of Aunt Jane (fathers second wife.) There are so many deaths among middle age people from heart trouble (acute) Church Welfare Ships Seven Carloads Goods SALT LAKE CITY, Feb. 16 The Latter day Saints church has loaded and shipped from welfare storehouses at Salt Lake City, Ogden and Idaho Falls seven carloads of clothing and food intended for European relief. Church authorities said that in addition 500 cases of canned meat have been shipped to Holland and 300 to Norway. Sunday, February 17 Dr & I attended Sabath School. Had dinner with Myrene & family. All home but Rich & he had gone to Salt Lake City to see Temple block etc with his Sunday school class. Dr went to S.S. Union meeting I called to see Dora Holther who has had a stroke three or more months ago. Dr called on Dr F. Baker. I called at Luciles my sister. Her second grand daughter was born last night. John & Elain Hancocks child This evening we attended Sacrament meeting. A talk on Lady Nicotine by Farr. Junior came in for a while this evening Monday, February 18 Do not feel very well Tuesday, February 19 Did some typing of Geneology & sent to Las Vegas to Joseph Hanning on the Huntsman line. |
