Aerobics Program ♦ 15-20 hours of Drop-In Aerobics classes weekly ♦ Variety of classes ranging from step, spinning, kickboxing, toning, hip hop and more Aquatics Program ♦ 35-40 hours of weekly programming ♦ Programming includes lap swim, water aerobics, recreational swim and children group swim lessons. A variety of life guarding courses and other instructional classes are also offered. Fitness & Strength Training Areas ♦ Open 90+ hours weekly ♦ Large free weight and selectorized weight machine stations. Fitness area includes stair steppers, upright and recumbent bicycles, elliptical trainers, and more. Intramural Sports ♦ Numerous recreational opportunities involving team/individual competitions each semester ♦ Includes basketball, soccer, softball, flag football, racquetball, tennis, golf, triathlons, 5k races, etc. Club Sports ♦ 18 active clubs ♦ The club sports program involves students, faculty & staff who compete with college and university teams on a local, state, regional or national level in a variety of sports. Active clubs include men's baseball, billiards, bowling, ice hockey, lacrosse, martial arts, racquetball, rodeo, rugby, ski, men's soccer, swim/ water polo, volleyball and women's fast-pitch softball, etc. Wilderness Recreation Center and Experiential Learning The WRC offers a variety of equipment rentals, outdoor skills workshops, seminars, and recreational trips. Rentals are affordable and convenient; snowboards, cross country skis, camping and backpacking gear, white water rafts or kayaks, canoes, mountain bikes and more. Each semester the WRC offers 2-hour seminars including outdoor cooking, mountain bike repair, ski and snowboard tuning, backpacking and many other classes. More in- depth instruction includes a 1-3 day class on kayaking, climbing, snow shoeing, mountain biking or cross country skiing. Other programs include half-day or full-day sessions for groups to develop team building, trust, communication and leadership.
