Show 104 » Credit Hour Requirements: A total of 120 credit hours is required for graduation - a minimum of 46 of these must be Communication courses. A total of 40 upper division credit hours is required (courses numbered 3000 and above) - a minimum of 22 of these is required within the major. To enroll in 3000- and 4000-level classes in the Department of Communication, a student must be admitted as a major or hold upper division standing in the university. Students must successfully complete at least 50 percent of their Communication course work at Weber State University in order to receive a major or a minor in Communication. Complete three of the four courses listed below with an overall grade point average of 2.5 in the three courses selected and at least a grade of "C" in each of the courses selected: Comm HU 1020, HUl050, 1120,1130 2. Achieve a grade point average of 2.5 or higher in 30 credit hours. 3. Meet the general education requirements for Composition and Quantitative Literacy. General Education Refer to pages 36-41 for either Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science requirements (Bachelor of Arts recommended).
