Show Monday, January 1 Dr and I had our dinner at home alone about if not the first time in our married life we did not have some of the family or go to one of their homes. We drove up to Bushnell hospital guests of Dr and Mrs Robert M Col. Hardeway at open house for a few friends the officers, nurses and personal Held in officers lounge. It is a beautiful day we enjoyed the ride. This evening we went to see the Opera Gypsie Buren by N.Y. Co. Tuesday, January 2 I have had a bad cold the past three weeksn so glad to be better. I attended Relief Society meeting. Came home and rested some. Have so many things to do but each day brings its work so I dont seem to accomplish much. Have not answered my Xmas letters, have wrriten no thank you notes, have not written up my diary for the past ten day so now I am feeling better must catch up. A good resolve. Killed 29 service men a terriable train accident on S.P. over 50 people killed |
