During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Friday, August 3 Expect to go to Bear Lake in the morning so am busy getting things done up. Sunday, August 5 Lakota Ida. Slept very wlel. Enjoyed breakfast after which a meeting & Prog was held in the Hall About 200 present from Ut & Ida. A very good historical paper prepared by Dan Rich was read by his dau on the early settlement of Bear Lake Valley. Drs father CC Rich was called by Pres. Young to take a colony of Saints & settle there in 1863 My father John Cozzens was on of the first to go in 1863 & to Montpelier in 1864. Monday, August 6 Elder Sonnie of the 12 Apostles was a speaker and was greatly enjoyed. Some reports were given. About 230 of the family are in the War. Seven have given their lives. In the Spanish Americna War James Rich son of John & Deseret Rich served In War II a great many of the family served. Kieth Rich, Stanleys boy & two others now seving were present. Aug Drs mothers birthday if she were living would be 116 yrs old |
