The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Thursday, August 23 Sharlyne Brewer is sixteen years old today. She is a very capable sweet girl. She is caring for the home and Mary & Rodney while her father, Mother, Joe Rich and Alex are having a trip to Jackson Yellowstone etc. She has prepared a party for 16 of her her girl friends. The tabel setting was beautiful. Dr & I called to see her. A dear friend Ada Quin died at 2 A.M. Friday, August 24 Have made cookies today for Oertel to take on their trip East. Expected them up was disapointed. Dusted Drs Medical books upstaires. A card from Thair he is on vacation first for a long time. In France some where. Hope he can come home soon. Saturday, August 25 Have written cards to Cloteel B. Rich Los Angeles, Avon R Smart Los Angeles Mary R Peery Palo Alto, Charles R Smart Ammerillo Texas & a letter to Col. T.C. Rich Paris France. Polio is taking quite a number of 70 people in Utah the past months. Sunday, August 26 Dr & I attended Sunday School he gave a good lesson on the parables of Jesus. Dinner with Cleone & family. Called on Bakers Mrs. Baker was taken to hospital after six weeks in bed. She is very sick and no help is available for her home Dr. B is not able to care for her. She would not consent to go before. Called this evening to see Dr Baker he is alone & very unhappy. |
