During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show Tuesday, July 10 June & Avon & family Sharlyne Brewer Dr & I drove from Ogden to Jackson Wyo where we stayed all night. However June, Que, went on to Yellow Stone Lake. The rest of us stayed at Jackson Lodge a very nice place. It has been four years since we were in Yellowstone. I have been nine times in my married life think this may be my last. Wednesday, July 11 Drove to Yellowstone Lake June had reserved nice cabins. Stormy & cold so Dr & I rested while the rest went out in a fine boat (owned by Steve Covey of L.A.) They caught the limit & brought in 65 beautiful trout & gave all away except what we could eat for breakfast & dinner. Richard B. Rich & his friends called. They were seeing the park. They went on to Jackson Thursday, July 12 Dr & I joined the group for a fishing cruse there were 10 in the boat and the limet was caught again even I caught six nice ones, 10 to each was the limit Lots of Sport. Rained some but part of boat was covered in. Had a wonderful fish dinner It is so cold we have a fire in the stove for morning & evening and enjoy three wool blankets over us at night. Sleeping fine. Friday, July 13 A very stormy morning rain & wind waves quite high on the lake so we go out in the afternoon. Took lunch and had another fine catch there were taken to Jackson & frozen & we will pick our share up tomorrow or next day. We were gone 7 days. Much the same every day. No eating places so we were glad we went prepared. |
