Show Monday, May 7 Very thankful Germany surrendered to the Allies unconditionaly this day. So says Radio. I had lovly roses from Dr. This is my 74th Birthday I am feeling well and thankful for my many blessings. Have been remembered by letters, gifts, good wishes by my dear family and friends & realatives. Cleone & Myrene had friends in for Party as follows Amelia Flygare, Valbour Wheelwright Julia Parry, Elizabeth Thomas Clara Brewer Maren Blanch Lucile (my Sister) Oertel Myrene & Cleone. A lovly time. Do appreciate it all Tuesday, May 8 Have spent the day at home did intend to go to Relief Society but on account of book sales did not. There are so many things to do a day is never long enough because I do not get up very early. Have written a number of letters. News papers and radio give so much news of the War and Peace convention etc but work has to be gone too. Wednesday, May 9 Thursday, May 10 |
